Takeuchi Naoko
Born March 15th, a Pisces with blood type A. She debuted in 1986 with "Love Call" in the September issue of Nakayoshi Deluxe. Her chief works include Bishoujo Senshi Sailor Moon, Code Name wa Sailor V, and The Cherry Project. Bishoujo Senshi Sailor Moon received the 17th Kodansha Manga Award. In 1999, she married the manga author Togashi Yoshihiro. She is a mother of one. She is qualified as a pharmacist and medical laboratory technologist. Her hobbies are gardening and renovating her home. Originally from Yamanashi Prefecture, she is a resident of Tokyo.
The auspicious second TV realization of Sailor Moon has been set for the fall of 2003. Clap clap. (Applause!) Ever since right after the broadcast of the first one, the TV anime, was completed, I've heard from a truly great number of people to do another TV broadcast. (Thank you very much!) I thought about it for a little while, and not being particularly serious I said this time I wanted to do a live action version. Just as I said that, it happened. The second TV realization will be my long-cherished dream of live action. The admired Toei sentai and rider show production staff is making it. Plus, they're using lots of CG. Because of that, I tried using just a tiny bit of CG in the revision of this comic. (Can you tell where I used it?)
