The Cherry Project

This is the story of Asuka Chieri, a girl who dreams of figure skating after seeing a boy perform many years ago. She finally meets that boy, and hopes to skate with him. However, his true feelings remain a mystery.

This was Takeuchi Naoko's first major series, which appeared in Nakayoshi for about a year (soon to be followed by a slightly more popular series). It ran from October 1990 to December 1991, and is published in three volumes.
